IPneo to port its RCS-e client to Android 2.3 & 3.0

January 16, 2012 – Cairo, Egypt: IPneo Ltd., a leading supplier of IMS, VoLTE and RCS/RCS-e solutions for fixed and mobile terminals, announced today the extension of its smartphone operating systems footprint by porting its RCS-e cross-platform client from Android 2.2 to Android 2.3 & 3.0 platforms. IPneo's RCS-e client architecture has been designed to be quite modular. Therefore, it is easily customizable and supports different types devices and models of smartphones, PC's, and tablets, as well as a number of platforms including Android, iOS, Windows Phone 7, Blackberry, Symbian and customer specific operating systems. The client supports the latest versions of GSMA specifications including video share, image share, file transfer and instant messaging. IPneo's client is available as a downloadable application with all RCS-e capabilities included and can be also delivered as an integrated solution with the devices' native components including native address book, image and video galleries as well as the handset's native camera and the media browser, making it easier for end-users to enjoy their RCS-e services seamlessly.
